about
Momento began as a feeling before it became a place. A belief that art doesn't need permission — it needs presence. Tucked into Little Havana, Miami's most alive neighborhood, we exist as a third space for artists, collectors, and curious minds.
We work with a small, deliberate roster of artists — hand-selected, given space to experiment through painting, sculpture, installation, and beyond. Outside our programming, Momento participates in global fairs and opens its doors to new voices through curatorial collaborations and open calls.

curator
Yezenia Garcia grew up in Jalisco, Mexico, where she learned early that art is never just an object — it's a story, a moment in time. Now based in Miami, she works as an art advisor, writer, and curator with over nine years in the contemporary art world, bringing that same vision to everything she does. Trained in Digital Marketing at the University of Miami and Fine Art PR at Sotheby's Institute in New York, she moves fluidly between the editorial and the curatorial — her writing has appeared in ARTnews, the Miami Herald, Haute Living, amongst others. Above all, Yezenia believes art belongs to people, and has spent her career making sure they find each other through curated and intentional moments ("momentos")
