the unseen world and our ability to bridge the gap between
imagination and reality . Created with various free- flowing mediums ,
the eight new featured paintings mar k an evolution in Jonlouis's
dynamic style— his compositions becoming softer, and communicating
remarkable depth. Reflecting through fragmented memory and
perspective, they recall an intimate sense of revelation, when a

Jonloius Gonzalez (b. 1993, Coney Island, New York ) is a Puerto Rican
artist based in Miami, Florida. Gonzalez convert s familiar scenes to
dreamlike uni verses , exploring broader themes of interconnectedness ,
ideology , and the sublime. Though hi s influences stem from space and
light masters , like James Turrell, Rothko and Anselm Kiefer, it i s the
everyday observations and experiences that inform hi s practice the
most: with hi s unique visual language, Jonlouis captures life’ s faint
moment s and it’ s hidden messages , inviting us to uncover what lies just beyond the surface.
